2026 AFCC Conference

 
Drs. Carter and Profito presented at the Association of Family and Conciliation Courts (AFCC) 63rd Annual Conference in Seattle, Washington.  Along with Anne-Marie Cade, LLB, LLM of Australia, Dr. Carter and Dr. Profito offered a 90 minute presentation titled: Building Resilient Families ThroughTrauma Informed Parenting Coordination.  Dr. Carter also taught during the pre-conference institute – Navigating the Promise and Peril of Parenting Coordination.

FLAFCC PC Task Force

Dr. Carter and Dr. Profito are pleased to lend their expertise to the newly re-established FLAFCC Parenting Coordination Task Force addressing the challenges and impact of Parenting Coordination on Florida families.

FCPC 2026

After serving two years as president of the Family Court Professional Coalition in the 12th circuit, Dr. Profito is now serving as a board member and Immediate Past President.

2025 FLAFCC Webinar

Dr. Profito presented a webinar to the FLAFCC membership titled Buzzword Bingo discussing hot topics in family law.

2025 Presentation

Dr. Profito presented From Conflict to Connection: Transforming Parenting Coordination Through the Use of AI to the FLAFCC membership (October 25 in Orlando, FL) as well as AFCC membership (May 25 in New Orleans, LA). 

PC Committee

Dr. Carter is participating in the FL Bar- Family Law Section Parenting Coordination Committee working to update the rules and forms guiding parenting coordinators in Florida.
