Parenting Coordinator Mentorship
NCPC’s Parenting Coordinators have extensive experience in training Parenting Coordination and in the practice of PC. They adhere to national standards of practice and helped develop the ethical guidelines for Parenting Coordination. NCPC offers mentorship to those who are just entering the practice of Parenting Coordination and to those who want to enhance their skills. Mentorship is offered for individuals or small groups.
Mental Health Primer for Legal Professional
This workshop is designed for legal professionals who do not have training in essential mental health skills for Parenting Coordination work. An overview of the following areas will be presented: child development; importance of attachment; family systems theory and interventions; cognitive behavioral interventions; impact of divorce; parenting styles; personality disorders; and interventions when alienation and estrangement are present. Relevant research will be provided for additional reading and skill development.
